My Background

Over 12 years of commercial experience within the Testing Industry, Markus Witcomb has established a sound reputation as a leader in the field of testing. He began QAIST Limited in 2005 to offer a personalised, high calibre testing service to large corporates and small businesses.

He learnt his trade as a Modern Apprentice whilst at EDS and Capgemini, working with some of the best people in the industry at the time. His skills improved over the years acquiring knowledge on best practices within software testing. Going up the "ladder" he progressed from Test Analyst through to Team Leader and then on to Test Manager within 3 years, finally acquiring a position with Capgemini as a Programme Test Manager where he decided after 2 years to establish QAIST Limited.

He regularly keeps upto date with the industry and takes refresher ISEB/ISTQB courses every two years and also attends the majority of the well-known testing events, such as Eurostar.
